Additional Resources Added to Academic Support Program

CCOHS’ Academic Support Program (ASP) is a collection of workplace health and safety databases offered exclusively to universities and colleges. With the recent addition of the Canadiana and CISILO databases, the program now provides campus-wide Internet access to eight credible databases: MSDS, FTSS, CHEMINFO, RTECS®, Canadiana, CISILO, HSELINE, OSHLINE® with NIOSHTIC®/NIOSHTIC-2, and as well as several free resources - all for just $1195 per year. This fee represents thousands of dollars in savings from the full subscription fees of the individual databases, making the program more easily affordable to academic institutions.

ASP provides comprehensive health, safety and environmental information for the academic community:

• assisting faculty and staff in achieving safe and healthy working environments, and
• developing students’ knowledge and skills about environmental and workplace health and safety.
