OSH Links – Extreme Makeover of an Old Favourite
|
For years CCOHS has offered the Internet Directory, a comprehensive resource of related websites that for those interested in finding additional information on occupational health and safety. Now this service has been given an extreme makeover!
CCOHS’ Internet Directory has been re-designed, improved, re-launched and renamed on the CCOHS website as OSH Links.
Over the past several months, CCOHS surveyed users, reviewed resources, up-dated content, and enhanced the design and accessibility to create a resource that will better serve our users. OSH Links continues to offer benefits and some new features too:
- Compiles resources in one place to save you time and effort searching elsewhere;
- Links to hundreds of high-quality, primarily Canadian non-commercial websites, covering a wide range of workplace health and safety subjects;
- Organizes resources in lists, easily navigated by major subjects, by region, by industry sector, or by resource type;
- Selects resources from a wide variety of sources including credible national, provincial and local agencies, and non-profit organizations; and,
- Encourages feedback and sharing of suggestions for added resources.
