Health and Safety of Contractors At the Heart of CCOHS E-Course

CCOHS has developed an e-course that deals with the health and safety issues when contracting out work.  Contractor Health and Safety provides information and advice for organizations that choose to contract aspects of their business.

The one-hour course identifies how to ensure health and safety is forefront when creating contracts, from start to finish. It provides a framework in which owners, employers, and contractors can fulfill their responsibilities and ensure the work is done safely.

Course participants can contact CCOHS subject specialists to ask specific questions that may arise. There are quizzes throughout and a certificate of completion is issued upon passing the exam.

CCOHS courses are unique in that they are reviewed by expert representatives from labour, employers and government to ensure the content and approach are unbiased and credible. E-learning courses from CCOHS are also available in English and French.

Pricing and registration information is available on the CCOHS website.
