  Enform
Enform was created in 2005 by the merger of the Petroleum Industry Training Service (incorporated as a non-profit organization in 1961) and the Canadian Petroleum Safety Council (established in 1998). The goal of Enform is to coordinate an organized approach to achieve continuous improvement in health and safety for everyone involved in or affected by the Petroleum Industry. Continually strive to eliminate the number and magnitude of work-related injuries and illnesses through the promotion of health and safety principles, processes and practices for everyone in the industry. Promote improved and standardized petroleum industry health and safety practices that meet regulatory requirements throughout Canada. Promote worker safety and their right and responsibility to refuse to perform unsafe work.
 
  Nova Scotia Environment and Labour
Nova Scotia Environment and Labour is responsible for delivering effective and efficient regulatory management for the protection of our environment and the health and safety of Nova Scotians. One goal of the department is to establish and enforce clear standards to reduce occupational injury and illness.
 
  Oil Sands Safety Association
The Oil Sands Safety Association (OSSA) is a non-profit organization made up of representatives from Syncrude Canada, Suncor Energy, and Albian Sands and Canadian Natural Resources, as well as volunteer members from the labour providers, area contractors and education providers. The OSSA's objective is to bring together the current oil sands Owners to design and implement an agreed set of Safety Training Standards for purpose of creating “an incident free workforce”.
