This site is a tool to provide the Safety Professional with the latest in ASP Policies, Procedures, Safe Work Practices, Training Information, Forms, Reports and Occupational Health & Safety News including new legislative material as it becomes available. Loss control responsibilities must satisfy Legislative requirements including the responsibilities of the Health & Safety Professional to adequately meet the utility needs and to train Supervisors and other Management personnel in the application of the law.
 
  Electrical Industry Training Institute Ltd.
Electrical Industry Training Institute (EITI) is a leading private trades training institute in Surrey, BC. EITI has been providing apprenticeship and journeyperson upgrading training for the electrical industry since 1991. EITI's programs include a broad range of trades training, safety training and industry awareness courses. We currently offer over 75 courses for journeyperson upgrading, as well as full apprenticeship programs for powerline technicians and utility arborists. EITI offers the only pre-apprenticeship program for powerline technicians in Western Canada.

  Power Workers’ Union: Safety Page
The Power Workers' Union [PWU] is dedicated to work towards an accident free workplace for its membership. Even today, despite the concentrated efforts of unions everywhere, far too many workers are killed and injured on the job. The PWU has taken a strong leadership role in the health and safety of our membership. The elected representatives assisted by Staff Officers interface with employers on a regular and ongoing basis to discuss health and safety concerns.
