  Appeals Tribunal: Workplace Health and Safety Compensation Commission (New Brunswick)
The Appeals Tribunal, under the legislative authority of the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission Act, the Workers' Compensation Act and the Occupational Health and Safety Act is mandated to hear appeals. At arm's length from the WHISK, the Appeals Tribunal is a quasi-judicial administrative tribunal, which respects the rules of natural justice. If a worker, their dependent or an employer is dissatisfied with a decision made by the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission, they can appeal it through the Appeals Tribunal.
