The Occupational Health and Safety agencies in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador have worked cooperatively to produce this OHS video database in an effort to make this educational material more readily available to all clients.

Founded by sixteen construction-related organizations in November 1996, the NLCSA is an industry-driven, not-for-profit corporation committed to providing effective and affordable safety training and related services to the province's construction industry.   Occupational Health and Safety Branch: Department of Government Services (Newfoundland & Labrador)
The mandate is to maintain and improve health and safety standards in the workplace through the administration of: the Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations; the Mines Safety of Workers Regulations; the Radiation Health and Safety Act and Regulations and, other associated Regulations, Codes of Practice and specified standards.

The Newfoundland and Labrador Safety Council is a voluntary non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to the prevention of injuries and fatalities. The Council is an organization representing all the major sectors of the province's industry, business, government departments, volunteer organizations and many individuals who have a personal interest in safety, both on and off the job.
 
  SafetyNet: Community Research Alliance on the Health and Safety in Marine & Coastal Work
SafetyNet is a Community Alliance for Health Research with major funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR). This comprehensive research program studies occupational health and safety of marine and coastal work.
 
  Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission of Newfoundland and Labrador
Serving over 14,000 employers and approximately 12,000 injured workers, the Workplace Health, Safety and Compensation Commission is an employer-funded no fault insurance system that promotes safe and healthy workplaces, provides return-to-work programs and fair compensation to injured workers and their dependents.
 
  Workplace Health, Safety & Compensation Review Division: Newfoundland and Labrador
The Decision Search System (DSS) contains over 2000 decisions of the Workplace Health, Safety & Compensation Review Division. It is intended for use by the general public to assist with issues surrounding workers' compensation appeals.
