The Occupational Health and Safety agencies in Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Labrador have worked cooperatively to produce this OHS video database in an effort to make this educational material more readily available to all clients.
 
  Bully Be Gone
Bully B Gone was created by, People Against Workplace Bullying Society, to support victims of workplace bullying in Nova Scotia. By creating this site it is the intent of the creators to educate victims and employers on how to deal with Bullying in the Workplace, and to pressure Government for legislation to protect employees.
 
  Canada Research Chair in Occupational Health and Wellness
The Government of Canada created a new permanent program to establish 2000 research professorships titled Canada Research Chairs. Canadian universities both nominate Canada Research Chairs and administer their funds. Each eligible degree-granting institution receives an allocation of Chairs. For each Chair, a university nominates a researcher whose work complements its strategic research plan and who meets the program's high standards.
 
  CN Centre for Occupational Health and Safety
The CN Centre for Occupational Health and Safety was created in 2002 as a centre of excellence within Saint Mary’s University. Comprised primarily of faculty members and assisted by graduate students, the Centre’s objective is to build research capacity within the field of occupational health and safety including occupational health psychology.
 
  Coalition Against Workplace Violence
The Coalition Against Workplace Violence is comprised of a number of Nova Scotia unions (NSGEU, NSTU, NSNU, and CUPE). The presidents of each of these unions decided to meet on a regular basis to discuss issues of common concern to workers represented by all four unions.
 
  Dalhousie University: Certificate Program in Occupational Health & Safety Management
This program is designed for individuals who are currently or will be responsible for the design and coordination of health safety plans for their organization. Graduates of the program will have acquired the systems necessary to manage and control loss, to identify and protect against potential liabilities and to ensure compliance of existing federal and provincial regulatory requirements.
 
  Forestry Safety Society of Nova Scotia
The mission at the FSSNS is to develop and deliver cost effective, quality training programs. These programs will ensure a safe work environment and a skilled work force for the Forestry Industry of Nova Scotia, in compliance with Industry and Government regulations. This is a non-profit organization, funded by a levy, not to exceed 3 percent, on Workers Compensation Assessment.

  Occupational Health and Safety Division: Nova Scotia Department of Environment and Labour
The goal of the deapartment is to establish and enforce clear standards to reduce occupational injury and illness. As a key part of Nova Scotia's Workplace Safety and Insurance System. This department enforces the provincial Occupational Health and Safety Act and Regulations.
 
  Occupational Health Nurses Association of Nova Scotia
A non-profit, voluntary nurses interest group for nurses who are either working, interested, or want to enter the field of occupational health; or their job description involves the field of Occupational, Safety, Environmental, Wellness and Health.
 
  Workers' Advisers Program: Nova Scotia Environment and Labour
The Workers' Advisers Program is a legal clinic that is funded by the provincial government offering services to injured workers.
 
  Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal: Nova Scotia
The Workers' Compensation Appeals Tribunal is an independent tribunal which hears and decides appeals from final decisions of the Workers' Compensation Board.
 
  Workers' Compensation Board of Nova Scotia
