Workers' Advocate: Government of Yukon |

The Workers' Advocate is appointed by the Minister of Justice to advocate on the behalf of injured workers. The main duty of the Worker's Advocate is to advise workers and the dependents of deceased workers on the workers' compensation process, and the meaning and effect of compensation claims. |

Yukon College was officially born on March 23, 1983, replacing the Yukon Vocational and Technical Training Centre and taking over its buildings and facilities. This college offers a number of specific health and safety courses. |

Yukon Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal

This site provides Yukon workers and employers with ready access to information that may directly affect them within the appeal process. Since the tribunal's inception in April of 2000, the site has issued approximately 100 written decisions on matters brought to the workers' compensation appeal process. Includes copies of all tribunal decisions to the date of query. The database is in the Adobe .pd. format and is searchable. |
