  Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS)
Canada's national Occupational Health & Safety Resource. CCOHS promotes a safe and healthy working environment by providing information and advice about occupational health and safety.
 
  Globally Harmonised System of Classification and Labelling of Chemicals (GHS)
GHS addresses classification of chemicals by types of hazard and proposes harmonized hazard communication elements, including labels and safety data sheets. It aims at ensuring that information on physical hazards and toxicity from chemicals be available in order to enhance the protection of human health and the environment during the handling, transport and use of these chemicals. The GHS also provides a basis for harmonization of rules and regulations on chemicals at national, regional and worldwide level, an important factor also for trade facilitation.
 
  Hazardous Materials Information Review Commission
The Hazardous Materials Information Review Commission (HMIRC) is an independent agency accountable to Parliament through the Minister of Health. They work with stakeholders—industry, labour and governments—to help safeguard both workers and trade secrets in Canada’s chemical industry.
 
  International Programme on Chemical Safety (INCHEM)
Database of chemical safety information from intergovernmental organizations whose goal is to assist in the sound management of chemicals.
 
  Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for Infectious Substances
Public Health Agency of Canada presents these MSDS "for personnel working in the life sciences as quick safety reference material relating to infectious micro-organisms." Data sheets are available in English and French.
 
  Occupational Health and Safety Agency for Healthcare in British Columbia
The Occupational Health and Safety Agency for Healthcare in BC (OHSAH) was conceived in early 1998 in an Accord between management and union representatives. The Accord resulted in the creation of OHSAH, an agency with the goal of reducing workplace injuries and illness in healthcare workers and returning injured workers back to the job quickly and safely.

  Web Information Service (formerly CCINFOWeb)
This is the home page for the commercial OHS database service on the web, provided by the Canadian Centre for Occupational Health and Safety (CCOHS). Databases include: MSDS, CHEMINDEX, CHEMINFO, RTECS, NIOSHTIC, HSELine and CISILO, plus environmental and occupational health & safety legislation from all Canadian jurisdictions. All databases may be searched for free. Access to the data itself is by subscription.
 
  Workers' Compensation Board of Alberta
The Workers´ Compensation Board of Alberta is a not-for-profit organization legislated to administer the workers’ compensation system for the province. Through the payment of premiums, 117,000 employers fund this no-fault system to provide compensation for workplace injuries and occupational diseases to over 1.5 million workers.
 
  Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System: Official National Site
The Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) is Canada's national hazard communication standard. The key elements of the system are cautionary labeling of containers of WHMIS "controlled products", the provision of material safety data sheets (MSDSs) and worker education and training programs.

Le mandat du CCHST est de promouvoir la santé et la sécurité des lieux de travail en fournissant de l'information pratique en réponse aux questions qui s'y posent.

C'est le Home Page pour le service commercial de base de données d'OHS sur l'enchaînement, si par le centre canadien pour la salubrité professionnelle et la sûreté (CCOHS). Les bases de données incluent : MSDS, CHEMINDEX, CHEMINFO, RTECS, NIOSHTIC, HSELine et CISILO, santé environnementale et professionnelle positive et législation de sûreté de toutes les juridictions canadiennes. Toutes les bases de données peuvent être recherchées libre. L'accès aux données lui-même est par abonnement.
 
  Système d'information sur les matières dangereuses utilisées au travail: Site national officiel
Le Système d'information sur les matières dangereuses utilisées au travail (SIMDUT) constitue la norme nationale canadienne en matière de communication des renseignements sur les dangers. Les éléments essentiels du SIMDUT se composent de mises en garde sur les étiquettes des contenants de «produits contrôlés», de fiches signalétiques et de programmes d'éducation et de formation pour les travailleurs.
