Craig Journeay from Milton, Nova Scotia is just completing a one-year occupational health and safety certificate program at Nova Scotia Community College in Stellarton, Nova Scotia. After extensive work experience in the sawmill industry Craig developed a passion for health and safety and decided to pursue a post-secondary education in the field. As a student he was the occupational health and safety Class Representative on the Student Association at his college.
Craig is particularly interested in the role of ergonomics in reducing workplace musculoskeletal injuries and would like to expand his knowledge of ergonomics and its applications in occupational health and safety. He plans to work as a health and safety professional and earn a CRSP designation.
